Altayeb Group is looking for an experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO / Mandoob) in Qatar to manage government relations, official documentation and regulatory transactions. The successful candidate must communicate fluently in Arabic and English and be confident visiting ministries and government authorities across Qatar.

Job Description

The PRO / Mandoob will represent the company before relevant ministries, municipalities and government departments, complete online and in-person transactions, maintain accurate records and ensure licences, visas and employee documents are processed and renewed on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend Qatar ministries and government authorities to submit, follow up and complete company and employee transactions.
• Process commercial registrations, trade and municipality licences, Qatar Chamber of Commerce membership and renewals, Civil Defence approvals and other regulatory documentation.
• Liaise with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of Municipality, Ministry of Labour, Ministry of Interior, immigration departments, Civil Defence and other relevant authorities.
• Manage immigration and personnel procedures, including visa applications, renewals and cancellations; residence permit and Qatar ID issuance and renewal; establishment and immigration card transactions; labour approvals; and related employee documentation.
• Complete transactions through relevant Qatar e-government portals and follow up until approval or completion.
• Prepare, review and translate routine documents and correspondence from Arabic to English and English to Arabic.
• Maintain organised records of submissions, receipts, approvals, expiry dates and renewal deadlines.
• Keep management informed about changes to government procedures, regulations and documentation requirements.
• Handle confidential company and employee information professionally and accurately.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant PRO / Mandoob experience in Qatar.
• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English.
• Practical knowledge of Qatar government procedures, local regulations, business culture and ministry requirements.
• Experience handling commercial registration, municipality, Civil Defence, labour, immigration, visa, Qatar ID and residence permit transactions.
• Ability to use Qatar e-government systems and prepare supporting documents correctly.
• Strong follow-up, organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A valid Qatar light vehicle driving licence is mandatory.

Education: Completion of a postsecondary program in automotive technology, which may range from six months for a certificate to two years for an associate's degree. Certifications: ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications are often required. Experience: Previous experience in automotive and engine repair or auto mechanic training. Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, ability to use computerized diagnostic equipment, and proficiency in repairing and maintaining vehicles3. Licenses: A valid driver's license is typically required.

Education: A high school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational or technical training in automotive repair is often preferred. Certifications: ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications are highly valued and sometimes required. Experience: Previous experience as an auto mechanic or in a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment, and software to diagnose and repair vehicle issues. Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of automotive systems and components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex mechanical problems.

Education: A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience: Previous experience in logistics or supply chain roles is often required. Internships or part-time roles in logistics can be advantageous. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Familiarity with logistics software and systems is a plus. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve logistics operations. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with internal teams, external partners, and vendors. Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation, inventory management, and transportation arrangements.

• Education: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A master's degree can be advantageous. • Certifications: Professional certifications such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), or other relevant certifications are often required or highly valued. • Experience: Previous experience in accounting, finance, or a related field. Internships or part-time roles in accounting can be beneficial. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret financial data and make informed decisions. • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial records and reports.
