Warranty Information
1. Warranty support at Altayeb
Tyres and Equipment Centre, part of Altayeb Group in Qatar, can be contacted about a product or service purchased from us. Applicable warranty coverage is determined by the product-specific written warranty and mandatory Qatar legal requirements. This page does not limit statutory consumer rights or replace your invoice, warranty certificate or agreed service terms.
2. Tyres
Warranty coverage varies by brand, tyre category and product. Eligible tyres are covered for qualifying manufacturing or material defects under the applicable warranty terms. The warranty period, its starting date, eligibility conditions and available remedies are determined by the relevant product-specific warranty and applicable Qatar law. Please refer to your purchase and warranty documents, or contact our team for clarification before purchase. Claims are assessed through inspection, and our team will explain the outcome and any applicable remedy. This page provides general guidance and does not replace the applicable written warranty or your statutory rights.
3. Other products and service work
Batteries, automotive equipment and other products may have different warranty documents, installation requirements and claim procedures. Equipment parts, labour, transport and on-site attendance should be identified separately where applicable. A product warranty and responsibility for the quality of fitting or other service work are not the same issue. Report a concern about work performed by our team to the supplying branch for assessment; a product manufacturer’s exclusion does not remove responsibilities that applicable law places on our service work.
4. How to request an assessment
- Contact the branch that supplied the product or performed the work, or email info@altayeb.com.
- Provide your contact details, invoice or other available proof of purchase, product/vehicle information and a clear description of the concern. Photographs may help an initial review but do not replace inspection.
- Our team will explain the inspection arrangements and whether the product or vehicle needs to be presented. Keep the affected item available for assessment where safe to do so.
- Following the assessment, our team will explain the findings and any remedy available under the applicable warranty and Qatar law.
Do not continue using a tyre or product that appears unsafe. Seek appropriate assistance. Do not send unnecessary identity documents or full payment-card details with a claim. Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Conditions requiring assessment
Road-impact damage, cuts and punctures, ordinary wear, incorrect pressure, overloading, unsuitable fitment, misalignment, mechanical faults, misuse, unauthorised alterations and repairs may affect a manufacturer’s warranty depending on the cause and the applicable terms. These are not automatic grounds to reject every claim. Each concern must be assessed on its facts, including any product defect or service responsibility. Road-hazard cover, mileage guarantees and promotional protection apply only when expressly included in the relevant written offer.
6. Outcomes and costs
Repair, replacement, refund or another remedy depends on the findings, the applicable warranty and Qatar law. A proportional adjustment based on use or remaining tread must not be assumed unless supported by the applicable terms and law. Any proposed inspection, fitting, balancing, delivery or other charge should be explained before chargeable work is authorised. Nothing on this page limits any rights or remedies available under applicable Qatar consumer-protection law.
7. Questions or complaints
If you disagree with an assessment, ask the supplying branch for an explanation and contact info@altayeb.com with the reference details. This does not prevent you from seeking assistance from the competent Qatar consumer-protection authority or using other remedies available by law.
